NorTech Elects Tim Reynolds As New Board Chairman

February 10, 2011 - CLEVELAND, OH – NorTech's Board of Directors has elected Timothy "Tim" M. Reynolds to serve as the organization's new chairman and succeed Les Vinney, who has been chairman since 2004. Based in Summit County, Mr. Reynolds is owner and president of Tribute, Inc., which develops and markets software for industrial distributors of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, specialty and industrial hose and rubber, and gasket products.

Mr. Reynolds has been an active member of the NorTech Board and is a member of the organization's Finance Committee. He is also on the Greater Cleveland Partnership Board and Executive Committee, and on the board of the National Small Business Association, a Washington, D.C. - based advocacy group. Mr. Reynolds has previously served as Chairman of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) and Chairman of the Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA).

Tim Reynolds said, "NorTech's efforts to accelerate growth in Northeast Ohio's emerging technology industries are very important to our economy.  I look forward to working with the board, staff, and business and community leaders to achieve the organization's goals and objectives."

Prior to purchasing Tribute, Inc. in 1994, Tim worked in a variety of management positions with British Petroleum and BP America. Before joining BP, Tim worked for The Cleveland Trust Company, now KeyCorp. Tim is a graduate of Macalester College where he received his B.A., and the University of Michigan Graduate School Of Business, where he received his MBA.
