The roadmap is a tool. It’s a regional plan. It’s a dynamic way to set priorities, allocate resources, align stakeholders, and focus efforts to accelerate commercial activity and create economic progress and jobs within a region.

The NorTech roadmapping model

NorTech Energy Enterprise works with the Northeast Ohio advanced energy cluster, including academic, industrial, and regulatory organizations, to develop and implement roadmaps within high-potential sectors of advanced energy. The NorTech roadmapping model identifies and builds upon the region’s core strengths, which can immediately put to use growing the regional innovation clusters. NorTech Energy Enterprises has created advanced energy roadmaps for the Energy Storage, Smart Grid, Electric Transport, and Biomass/Waste-to-Energy sectors. Plans include developing roadmaps for the fuel cells and energy efficiency sectors.
