Background
- NorTech had been working with Vadxx for some time. Vadxx was a key member of the Waste & Biomass to Energy Roadmap Working Group.
- NorTech spent considerable efforts recruiting Rockwell and engaging Rockwell in our cluster efforts. Rockwell developed into a significant cluster company in many sectors. They saw value in being connected with new developments in the advanced energy industry in the region.
- Through several NorTech events and meetings, Vadxx and Rockwell had the opportunity to meet. Very early stage discussions ensued around a potential partnership following these meetings.
- NorTech actively recruited Rockwell to have a significant presence at AE B2B Conference & Expo.
- Rockwell and Vadxx began serious discussions about the partnership at the event.
Impact
- The partnership will allow Vadxx to complete the engineering and scale the manufacturing without building that capability organically.
