NorTech

Karen L. Allport is Vice President of Strategic Outreach and is responsible for the development and execution of outreach strategies designed to build relationships with key stakeholders. In this role, she advances the organization's position with relevant constituents as well as drive broader awareness and support of NorTech and its initiatives in Northeast Ohio.

Rebecca O. Bagley is President and Chief Executive Officer and leads the organization's effort to develop regional innovation clusters and make the region's economy more economically diverse by supporting and nurturing Northeast Ohio's most promising technology projects and initiatives. Ms. Bagley connects with regional, state and federal government leaders to raise the visibility of Northeast Ohio's technology assets and drive funding to the region.

Rebecca (Becky) J. Barker serves as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. Ms. Barker manages the President and CEO's calendar and communications, supports interactions with NorTech's Board of Directors and other key stakeholders, and serves as the CEO's central point of contact with staff and external partners. 

Jeffrey M. Brancato is Vice President at NorTech and responsible for managing multiple internal and external special projects, overseeing operations and managing the government engagement program. In this role, Mr. Brancato builds and maintains relationships with key business leaders in the community and represents NorTech's President and CEO at various functions and meetings.

Ronald J. Burkhard, CPA joined NorTech in January 2012 as Director of Finance and Administration. In this role, Mr. Burkhard is responsible for managing NorTech's finance and accounting activities, strategic financial planning, and administrative operations, including human resources.

Dr. Byron C. Clayton is Vice President of NorTech and is responsible for leading NorTech FlexMatters, an initiative to accelerate growth in Northeast Ohio's flexible electronics cluster. Dr. Clayton works with flexible electronics cluster organizations on collaborative projects and initiatives to advance the cluster regionally and nationally.

Timothy E. Fahey is Senior Consultant for NorTech FlexMatters and is responsible for identifying and facilitating product development and commercialization opportunities for the flexible electronics cluster. Mr. Fahey works to recruit new companies to the cluster and identify collaborators to generate competitive grant proposals.

William E. Hagstrand serves as a Senior Consultant for NorTech Energy Enterprise and is responsible for driving NorTech Energy Enterprise's engagement in cluster opportunities from inception to successful completion. This includes identifying and cultivating potential opportunities for participating organizations and recruiting organizations to the cluster.

David P. Karpinski is Vice President of NorTech and Director of NorTech Energy Enterprise, an initiative aimed at driving growth in Northeast Ohio advanced energy industry. He is engaged in forging collaborations among the many stakeholders throughout the region and marshaling the resources required to accelerate growth in the cluster.  

Beth A. Lawson serves as Marketing and Event Coordinator and is responsible for promotion and coordination of all events and programs that promote NorTech's technology initiatives.

Jeanne M. Madison serves as Director, Grants Development for NorTech. Ms. Madison supports NorTech in meeting its fundraising goals by directing, managing and executing the full range of activities required to identify and secure funding from private and corporate foundations and state and federal agencies.

Edward P. Richards is a Senior Consultant for NorTech Energy Enterprise. He is responsible for driving NorTech Energy Enterprise's engagement in cluster opportunities from inception to successful completion, identifying and cultivating potential opportunities for participating organizations, and recruiting organizations to the cluster.

Lea Y. Smith serves as Administrative Coordinator and conducts a variety of administrative functions for NorTech senior staff and supports the Vice President.

Kelly C. South is Senior Director of Communications and responsible for marketing communications and public relations to support NorTech's outreach activities and build broader awareness of Northeast Ohio's technology strengths and assets.

Ashley F. Sparks serves as Project Coordinator for NorTech Energy Enterprise. Ms. Sparks supports the efforts of the advanced energy team to accelerate the growth of the advanced energy industry cluster in Northeast Ohio.
